Type A structure
Cladding in porcelain stoneware 9 mm thick
The structure is composed of “T” profiles and “L” brackets formed through extrusion of aluminium alloy with a minimum thickness of 2 mm, and is designed to absorb thermal expansion and small movements of the support without transferring stresses to the outer cladding. .
The fixing of the brackets to the underlying support must be carried out by means of dowels suitably dimensioned and suitable for the specific type of support.
The fixing of the upright profiles on the brackets is handled by means of rivets and/or self-drilling screws, with “fixed point” and “sliding point”, according to the final design.
.
The anchoring of the porcelain stoneware slabs is realised with stainless steel clips riveted to the vertical uprights, which can be coloured according to the RAL of the cladding for optimum aesthetics..
Joints may be 8 mm thick.
Type B structure
Cladding in porcelain stoneware 9 mm thick
The structure is composed of “Ω-omega” profiles and “U” brackets formed through extrusion of aluminium alloy with a minimum thickness of 2 mm, and is designed to absorb thermal expansion and small movements of the support without transferring stresses to the outer cladding.
Grooves are cut into the upright profile to accommodate spacers and self-positioning stainless steel clips for fixing the cladding slabs. For optimum aesthetics, the clips can be coloured according to the RAL of the facing. The joints can be 6/8 mm thick and the system is completed by gaskets in EPDM that have an anti-vibration function.
